Hei! That's "hello" in Finnish. No, I'm not Finnish, I'm Hailey! This week technically marks our third week working on Project FURever Home, but we definitely did not make a blog post last time, so here's week "two". Last time, we had a somewhat-functional blog, but now we have a somewhat-functional blog with working links to all our social media! We've now created Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts for our project. We're hoping to start emailing local shelters to try to get their help with advertising animals that need to be adopted. We haven't really started anything big yet, we wanted to start dog walking, but we hadn't started working on the project early enough to, as it's snowing now. We plan to advertise our dog treats at our local Christmas Walk once we get up and running for real. If our emails to shelters don't get responded to ('cause who uses email), Kaili is supposed to make direct phone calls to them, since she's the biggest "people-person" out of all of us. Our end goal is to get many pets adopted, mainly focused on animals who have been in shelters for a long time. Most, if not all, of us plan to work on this project even after this year. We might ditch the long, drawn out blog posts, though. Anyway, here's a picture of a cat that lives in Finland, until next time!.
