Howdy! This week, we finally managed to find things to post! Firstly, Jessica made our first post to advertise a disadvantaged pet for adoption. Our goal when advertising these pets is to help them find a home, which improved the lives and the lives of their adopters. In our group, we all know that having a pet improves your life, but many people may not know exactly how. To solve this issue, we all plan to post images of our pets with their backstories and how adopting them improved our lives. Hailey's pets aren't adopted, but she will still post about how they have improved her life. This leads into how our project will help the people in our community. Pets make people happier and can be a companion for people who are lonely, especially people who live alone. They can give their owners a purpose in life and give their owner someone to confide in when they don't have anyone else to talk to. Our first pet advertisement was a random background, but we have a set one we're using from now on. We also posted a list of supplies needed by Partners for Pets, seeing as they are the only group that emailed us back. Our goal for this week is to keep advertising for older, disabled, or disadvantaged pets to find them homes, reach a bigger following, and post information that could help current/future pet owners, like tips.
