Week 4 (sort of): PAWS and Reflect (1/4/19)

When we started Project FURever Home, we had no idea what was achievable or realistic. All we knew was that we wanted to help animals and need and improve the lives of those in our community. The original goal of hosting an adoption fair, although we knew it was unlikely to happen, persisted for longer than it should've. Though it took us a few months, we now know where we are going and that it is achievable. My role is and always has been to create and manage our social media pages. The only problem with this is that we have had absolutely nothing to post. However, this will finally change soon, We reached out to many shelters and we are currently working with Partners for Pets. Our main goal now is to raise supplies for this organization through a drive and to help get pets adopted. This is beneficial to people in our community because pets provide companionship, love, and comfort, as well as many health benefits. We will do this by posting pictures of pets that aren't likely to be adopted, accompanied by a short bio and where you can find them. My job will be to post these ads and make sure the formatting and all the information is there and to respond to anyone who messages us or comments on our pages. I will also make posts about any events we are doing and the supplies that Partners for Pets needs. To raise more money, we also plan to sell home made dog treats and t-shirts. All profits will go to Partners for Pets, either directly or through supplies we purchase for them. When it warms up, we also plan to open a dog walking service to both raise money and to help people by exercising their dogs for them.
