Week 2: Moving Forward (11/19/18)

Hello! We are still beginning the process of advertising for Project FURever Home. This week we have successfully created our social media accounts. We have made a Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. To spread the word about our accounts, I am going to tell people about them through my personal social medias. This will help us gain more followers to spread the word about this issue to. Also, we put different treat recipes on this website. There are treats for all different kinds of dogs. There are vegetarian treats for dogs who are not able to eat meat. We also are currently drafting emails to send to different animal shelters in our area. These emails are going to inform the shelters about our project. We are hoping that the shelters will respond to our emails and tell us ways we can assist them. This week is a very slow week and all we can really do is wait for the shelters to respond. We wanted to walk dogs to gain more money, but winter is approaching so it will be more difficult to do so. We are going to continue to make treats and we trying to plan an upcoming shelter drive. At our shelter drive we will be able to sell treats and get donations. So our goal in the upcoming weeks is to receive follow up emails from the shelters. We will listen to what they say and we will figure out what to do next after that.
